Sitting at the intersection of Finance, Data, and Technology, this high-impact role is designed for a data-savvy finance professional who excels at translating complex financial requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.
In this role, you will act as the key business partner between Finance and central Data/Tech teams. You will own the optimisation of BI dashboards, lead the technical management and enhancement of FP&A systems, and drive the adoption of automation and AI across the finance function.

Sitting at the intersection of Finance, Data, and Technology, this high-impact role is designed for a data-savvy finance professional who excels at translating complex financial requirements into scalable data and reporting solutions.
In this role, you will act as the key business partner between Finance and central Data/Tech teams. You will own the optimisation of BI dashboards, lead the technical management and enhancement of FP&A systems, and drive the adoption of automation and AI across the finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Data & Business Intelligence: Act as the primary bridge between Finance and Data teams; build, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards and datasets to enable data-driven decision-making across the business.
- Commercial Insights & Payments: Work closely with the payment processing commercial team to develop key performance dashboards, regularly communicating insights, drivers, and trends to senior stakeholders.
- FP&A Systems Ownership: Own the ongoing development, infrastructure, and dimension modelling within the core FP&A platform; manage enhancement tickets and support the FP&A team with budgeting, forecasting, and routine reporting.
- Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparent documentation across all financial datasets and reporting tools.
- Automation & AI Adoption: Proactively identify manual finance workflows to streamline through automated data solutions; champion the practical and responsible adoption of AI technology across the finance function.
Essential:
- Strong foundational understanding of core finance processes, FP&A, and business performance metrics.
- Hands-on experience building BI reporting solutions and writing SQL queries to work with data platforms.
- Proven track record acting as a translator between Finance business units and technical Data/IT teams.
- Solid understanding of data models, reporting infrastructure, and data flows.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical business partners.
- Analytical, structured mindset focused on process optimisation and problem-solving.
- Direct experience with modern FP&A platforms (such as Anaplan, Workday Adaptive, Vena, or similar), including model structure, dimensions, and data integrations.
- Prior exposure to payment processing metrics, commercial data, or ERP datasets.
- Keen interest or practical experience in leveraging AI and automation tools to enhance business operations.
