Learning & Development Lead | Bristol | £39,000 - £41,000 FTE | Part-Time (22.5-30 Hours, 3-4 Days)
We're partnering with a well-established, values-driven Not For Profit organisation in Bristol to recruit a Learning & Development Lead. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced L&D professional who enjoys creating engaging learning programmes, developing future leaders, and building a positive learning culture. Working closely with the HR team and senior leadership, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping learning and development initiatives, ensuring compliance, and supporting employees to reach their full potential.
The Role:
- Design, implement and evaluate learning and development programmes aligned to organisational objectives.
- Identify training needs across the organisation and deliver or source appropriate learning solutions.
- Oversee mandatory and compliance-based training, ensuring training records remain up to date and the organisation remains inspection ready.
- Manage and report on training compliance, providing regular updates and insights to key stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and ongoing management of a Learning Management System.
- Develop and deliver leadership and management development programmes.
- Facilitate workshops, team development sessions and learning events across the organisation.
- Create and maintain online learning resources for both new and existing employees.
- Work collaboratively with managers to embed competency frameworks and support personal development planning.
- Lead a range of learning and development projects from planning through to implementation.
- Support employer branding and engagement initiatives, promoting career development opportunities internally and externally.
Your Profile:
- Previous experience within a Learning & Development, Organisational Development or Training role.
- Strong experience designing, delivering and evaluating training programmes.
- Experience managing compliance or regulated training within a complex organisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work alongside senior leaders and managers.
- Experience implementing learning systems, frameworks or organisational development initiatives would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passionate about developing people and creating a positive and engaging learning culture.
