Are you a qualified accountant with a passion for the charity sector and a genuine love for modernising finance functions? We are partnering with a fantastic Bristol-based charity to find their next Head of Finance.
This is a pivotal, hands-on leadership role for someone who wants to make a real impact. You will lead and develop a small team of 2, taking ownership of the full financial ecosystem while driving forward exciting systems and data transformations.
 

Responsibilities include:

• Championing the modernisation of accounts and data processes, bringing fresh ideas and a transformation-focused mindset to how the finance function operates.
• Overseeing the production of comprehensive management and financial accounts while balancing high-level strategic input with some necessary hands-on processing duties.
• Collaborating closely with budget holders to set budgets, offering constructive challenge on numbers, and guiding financial decision-making.
• Line managing and supporting a dedicated team of 2 within a collaborative environment.

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
• Experience working within the charity sector.
• Someone who genuinely enjoys change management, upgrading systems, and refining data to improve overall efficiency.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge and advise budget holders effectively.
