Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Finance & Office Coordinator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance and administration professional looking for a varied role that combines accounts support, office coordination and wider business administration responsibilities.

Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, you'll play a key role in ensuring financial processes run smoothly while helping to maintain efficient day-to-day operations. This position would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on variety.

The Role

As a Finance & Office Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing purchase ledger, supplier invoices and customer invoicing
  • Assisting with credit control, payment processing and account reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting monthly reporting activities
  • Processing employee expenses and liaising with external finance providers when required
  • Coordinating meetings, diaries, correspondence and general office administration
  • Maintaining company records, filing systems and business documentation
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of office operations and facilities
  • Providing administrative support across the wider business
  • Assisting with onboarding, recruitment administration and employee record management
  • Coordinating training records, memberships and internal communications
  • Supporting compliance, audit, insurance and governance-related activities
  • Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a Finance Administrator, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Office Coordinator, Office Manager or Business Support role
  • Experience supporting accounts payable, invoicing and general finance administration
  • AAT Level 3 qualified as a minimum requirement
  • Confidence using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, adaptable and professional approach

The following would be advantageous:

  • AAT Level 4 qualification
  • Exposure to HR, payroll or compliance administration
  • Experience supporting wider business operations and office management functions
