Our client is seeking a highly organised and proactive Team Administrator to join their growing sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys supporting commercial teams and ensuring business development activities run smoothly behind the scenes.
Working closely with a team of Business Development Managers and Business Development Representatives, you'll play a key role in supporting client onboarding, maintaining CRM records, coordinating travel and events, and providing essential administrative support to a busy sales function. This position would suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a varied workload.
The Role
As a Business Development Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Sending out client engagement letters and supporting onboarding activities
- Assisting the compliance team with background checks on new clients
- Running reports and management information through Salesforce, including business development statistics and performance data
- Ensuring CRM records are accurately maintained following client calls, meetings and activities
- Supporting the Business Development team with general administration tasks
- Booking travel arrangements for Business Development Managers, including train tickets and accommodation where required
- Coordinating events, roundtables and meetings, including diary management and calendar invitations
- Maintaining accurate records, documentation and business development data
- Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the sales function
About You:
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Previous experience within an Administrator, Sales Administrator, Business Development Administrator, Commercial Administrator or Team Assistant role
- Experience supporting a sales or business development team
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Experience using Salesforce
- Confident Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and reporting tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, professional and adaptable approach
The Following Would Be Advantageous:
- Experience within a professional services environment
- Previous exposure to client onboarding processes
- Experience supporting compliance or due diligence activities
- Experience arranging travel, meetings and events for senior colleagues
What's on Offer?
- Salary of £28,000 - £30,000 DOE
- Hybrid working with two days working from home each week (Tuesdays and Fridays)
- Standard working hours of 9:00am - 5:30pm
