Group Financial Controller | North Bristol | £60,000 - £65,000 + Benefits

We’re currently partnering with an international and dynamic manufacturing organisation based in North Bristol to find a hands-on Group Financial Controller.
This is a pivotal, 100% on-site leadership role for someone who doesn't mind rolling up their sleeves, leading a small team of 2 direct reports, and overseeing the global finance function across the group. Some international travel is required.

The Role:

Preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements for all entities, managing month-end and year-end closes strictly in line with the group timetable.
Delivering robust, accurate, and timely reporting, including monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances and the preparation of consolidated monthly and annual group P&L and Balance Sheet statements.
Overseeing banking controls, managing cash reporting, forecasting, bank facilities, and relationships, and managing liquidity without detriment to the supplier base or operations.
Managing annual audits for all group entities, liaising closely with UK and overseas audit teams, and ensuring clear reconciliation to management accounts.
Overseeing local tax computations and returns to guarantee full compliance with all relevant tax authorities.
Leading the global finance function by ensuring consistent accounting policies and reporting standards across the group.

Your Profile:

A qualified accountant with strong technical accounting and consolidation experience.
Industry background specifically from manufacturing, engineering, or construction sectors.
A hands-on leader who is comfortable getting their hands dirty and managing 2 direct reports.
Open to occasional international travel and working 100% on-site in North Bristol.
