Our client is a well-established Financial Planning and Wealth Management firm based in Swindon, currently looking to recruit an experienced Qualified Paraplanner to join their growing team.
This position would suit a Diploma-qualified Paraplanner who enjoys technical research, report writing and supporting advisers in delivering tailored financial planning solutions. You will work closely with a team of Financial Advisers, helping to deliver high-quality advice across pensions, investments and protection.
The Role:
As a Technical Paraplanner, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and protection products
- Preparing clear and compliant suitability reports for Financial Advisers
- Analysing client information and existing arrangements
- Supporting advisers with complex financial planning strategies and recommendations
- Preparing cashflow planning and technical analysis where required
- Liaising with providers and third parties to obtain information and progress cases
- Ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant and suitable for recommendation
- Assisting with pre and post-review planning requirements
- Supporting the delivery of a smooth and efficient client journey
- Maintaining high standards of compliance and regulatory adherence
About You:
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (essential)
- Previous Paraplanning experience within a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or IFA environment
- Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and protection
- Excellent report writing and research skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
- Experience using financial planning back-office systems and research tools
